This online information session via Zoom is for COPA & CHPTA members and will cover various Canadian federal and provincial environmental (EPR) programs and initiatives on plastics as well as new product-related standards impacting our member companies. Subject matter will include updates on Provincial Blue Box / Packaging, Paper Products & Packaging-like Products (PPP) EPR Programs; the Federal Plastics Registry; Federal Anti-Greenwashing Guidelines; Federal PFAs Reporting; Proposed Federal Regulations for Plastic Packaging & Certain Single-Use Plastics including Recycled Content Requirements and Recyclability/Compostability Labelling Rules; Quebec Bill 96 French Language Regulations; and new CSA Standards (C22.2) impacting cooking and heating appliances.  Other topics can be raised as well.  

Join us to learn and share information on these regulatory topics and keep yourself in the know. Moving forward, we would like to set up a new Peer Group for members to keep you updated on these and future programs/regulations.  The group would meet via Zoom every 8 weeks, or as required.
